Well I am having a stomach flu now, due to eating contaminated food from my Phuket Trip, therefore this post is actually delayed.
But well, I think I'm still quite hardworking despite having so many photos to edit and my illness. I am still here now to blog about my trip.
Okay basically, the reason why we chose Phuket was because we wanted to celebrate Caroline's 21st birthday
Initially we wanted to go to Batam. After that I saw a deal of Phuket which was only $100 more than the batam trip so we decided to go.
HOWEVER. DON'T GET CHEATED. We end up spending SGD$362 per pax instead of $240...
I will tell you the details on why I said that we were cheated....
Woke up super duper early for our flight and we reached 3 hours earlier than our departure time. Talk about Kiasuism. LOL
No la actually I thought that Caroline would actually be late but in fact she was like super early la.. HAHAA Btw the guy's name is called Jonah. So I will be calling them names in case you don't understand throughout my post then you cannot blame me for not tell you his name ah!
Both of them are my classmates... In case you wonder like how we knew one another. LOL
And just coincidentally.... We were early and look who I found at the airport????
Tadah! I found Jeff, Preston and Darren. HAHAHA No la they were actually at terminal 2 and I was at terminal 3. But that Jeff saico me to go find them to take pictures. AHAH talk about coincidence to be at the airport at the same timing and flying on the same day...
The only difference is that they were going to Hong Kong while we were heading to Phuket la.
So after waiting, breakfast etc... we set off to Phuket....
Reached Phuket... And we had like a coach and like having handsigns just for us. AND WE WERE SO LUCKY that the bus is only set for the three of us. LOL
Talk about PRIORITY LOL
The coach is very funny and nice he then brought us for a city tour... We started off with the Gold Buddha Temple....
DAY 1
We also went to the Pearl's place where they told us the making of pearls etc but I didn't bother to take photos because it isn't like super pretty or what...
Anyway we had our first meal in Phuket.... Which was at Bypass Restaurant. I SWEAR THE GREEN CURRY THERE IS THE BEST THROUGHOUT THE TRIP.
When you drink the first sip, your eyes go GAGA over it. I SWEAR!! My friends were all so delighted. Really awesome man!
And its not very very cheap eating there... We ordered this many dished and the price was about 1200 bahts which is around.... 60SGD for 3pax la...
I would rate Bypass Restaurant like this :
Food : 4/5 (GREEN CURRY SUPER NICE)
Portion : 4/5 (A LOT EAT UNTIL SO FULL)
Service : 4/5 (Not bad service staffs are quite friendly & has WiFi)
Environment : 3/5 (Has a nice scenery but a got moths and mosquitoes to welcome you)
Price : 3/5 (No comments)
OVERALL : 4/5
I think if you go by tour, its going to cost you more cos they want to earn commission. But let's just close one eye because the food is really good. LOL
After that we headed to our Hotel....
This is the part which I said IT WAS A SCAM.
I randomly asked my coach about our hotel. I asked him .... 'Is Royal Palm a good hotel?'
He said 'Ehhhh. not bad...!'
Me 'Is Royal Palm better than Patong Beach Hotel?'
Him, with an immediately reaction 'NO OF COS NOT!'
I WAS LIKE COMPLETELY SHOCKED...
Previously I googled it... Royal Palm had 3stars review while Patong beach had 4stars review.... I told myself maybe because Patong Beach is the more "famous" hotel there that's why more people gave it a better review...
HOWEVER IT IS NOT. OUR TRAVEL AGENCY CHEATED US.
Those motherfuckers told us that we can have a free 'UPGRADE' listen the word UPGRADE to royal palm hotel because we spent addition $62 on traveling to Phi Phi Island.. Initially our hotel was Patong Beach. And of cos the name ROYAL PALM SOUNDS SO MUCH NICER THAN PATONG... SO I AGREED TO CHANGE..
FUCKING MORON. THE HOTEL IS LIKE RUBBISH.
ITS NOT UPGRADE IS FREAKING DOWNGRADE.
I am going to say this NEWLY TOURS PTE LTD CHEATED ME. I DARE TO SAY BECAUSE I HAVE THE SMS AS PROOF THAT YOU TOLD ME ITS A FREE UPGRADE BUT ITS NOT. FUCKERS.
In the first place.... You guys were not very nice already. You told me that my travel itinerary and accommodation will be down two weeks before our departure date... One week before I had NO NEWS FROM YOU ALL. I called and texted then you guys told me OH I will check for you, it should be done NEXT WEEK. THEN. I WAITED UNTIL 4 DAYS BEFORE MY DEPARTURE NO NEWS AT ALL. I HAD TO INITIALED TO TEXT AND CALL YOU AGAIN!
LASTLY. The most funny thing of all. He even told me that I only had 7kgs baggage allowance, and If I wanted to do online checkin I had to pay additional fees to it.
FUCK YOU SERIOUSLY.
I went to do online checkin myself because I didn't believe that we needed to pay extra.
AND INDEED WE DIDN'T NEED TO.
AND WE HAD 10KGS BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE. YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE OF THE 3KGS?
ITS 3 X 3(PAX) = 9KGS YOU MORON.
I can bring so much more things with that 3kgs. my god. Lucky I checkin my self or else I wouldn't know what to do. Fucking moron whore make me so angry.
Okay I'M NOT DONE YET..... Shall let you see the freaking haunted hotel....
The hotel looks normal BUT IT IS NOT. YOU KNOW WHEN WE FIRST STEP FOOT INTO THE HOTEL. THERE WAS A FREAKING BIG COCKROACH TO WELCOME YOU ALREADY.
YOU KNOW THE COCKROACH IS LIKE 3 TIMES THE SIZE OF A NORMAL COCKROACH IN SINGAPORE. I SWEAR FREAKING BIG. I WAS SO SHOCKED.
I naturally am afraid of cockroaches. and this is really a trauma to me.
In fact on day 2 Caroline and Jonah saw another cockroach but didn't dare to tell me because they saw but the cockroach disappeared and they were afraid that I will go crazy if I knew...
The hotel really like shit.
First of all. THE HEATER WAS SPOILED. NO WARM WATER FOR THE FIRST 5MINS.
After that the heat of the water will gradually INCREASE. AND WILL NOT DECREASE AT ALL.
It will be hotter and hotter until you feel that it is hurting your scalp... THAT'S HOW HOT THE WATER IS. AND YOU CAN'T TURN IT DOWN.
Its either you turn it off wait awhile and restart the whole thing again.. STUPID SHOWER.
Nevermind, No Toothbrushes Or Toothpaste was provided.. NEVERMIND.
The freaking TAP ALSO SPOILED. When you turn it on, the water BURST OUT LIKE VOLCANO ERUPTION LIKE THAT.
The bed that they provided had stains and all over it.
SECONDLY
I think this is the most hideous thing of all.
THE SWIMMING POOL SPOILED. NO SWIMMING POOL I SWEAR. AND I THINK THEY DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO TELL YOU AND FIX IT.
No generator of the pool spoiled which means no regeneration of clean water. When you go up to the pool. you can immediately SEE THAT THE WATER IS DIRTY.
THE JACUZZI ALSO SPOILED.
SO WHAT'S YOUR HOTEL'S SELLING POINT NOW? ALL YOUR FACILITIES SPOILED YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL US.
The massage place in the hotel is HORRIBLE. NO ONE IS WORKING. THE WHOLE TIME I ONLY SEE ONE GIRL THERE. AND SOMETIMES SHE IS NOT THERE ALSO.
WHERE THE HELL ARE THE PEOPLE? THEY CAN BECOME INVISIBLE?
THIRDLY THE MOST HILARIOUS OF ALL.
I went down to the reception to ask for more hangers.... The lady told me okay will give it to me later.
I WAITED FOR 30MINS.. I angry I called. She heard my voice she was like giving me an annoyed tone and said ' I will call and check for you ' .... I waited for another 20mins. I REALLY ANGRY I CALLED AND ASK WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO SEND ME THE HANGERS? I WAITED FOR 50MINS FOR JUST HANGERS.
After that 5 mins later the guy came to my doorstep and I open the door,
He looked at me with a stupid smiling face and gave me 4 hangers.
I ASKED FOR 10. WE HAVE 3 PEOPLE. 4 WHERE GOT ENOUGH?
YOU KNOW WHAT HE TOLD ME?
HE SAID " WE ONLY HAVE 4 HANGERS. " - smiling face
YOUR HOTEL SO BIG YOU ONLY HAVE 4 HANGERS TO GIVE ME?
AND YOU KNOW WHAT...
THE HANGERS HAD NO HOOKS.
SO ITS JUST A TRIANGLE WITHOUT THE TOP. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO HANG THE CLOTHES?
I ASKED FOR THE HOOKS HE SAID " SORRY DON'T HAVE " - still smiling face.
I GOT SO ANGRY I ROLL EYES ON HIM AND SLAMMED THE DOOR.
FUCKING TROLL. I RATHER YOU TELL ME YOU GUYS RUN OF OUT HANGERS THAN TO MAKE ME WAIT FOR 50MINS FOR 4 HANGERS THAT CANNOT EVEN HANG CLOTHES.
WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS?
Okay enough with scolding their services...

I AM NOT KIDDING. You can't even sleep at night because the roadside is so noisy.
Please if you want to sleep in a hotel, TRY DESTINATION HOTEL... FOR 3D2N ITS JUST 1000 BAHTS MORE THAN ROYAL PALM... WHICH IS $40 MORE ONLY.
THE LOBBY ITSELF LOOKS BETTER THAN OUR BEDROOM. STUPID.
We only found out about the hotel on our last day.. I swear I will never accommodate to Royal Palm EVER AGAIN.
We headed to the famous beach which is infront of our hotel. 'THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE HOTEL IS THEIR LOCATION AND NOTHING ELSE' We are right in the central.
The tides were really big and the sand was so soft...
After that we decided to go to the dirty pool in our hotel... You know what we did? HAHAHA
WE WENT TO CLEAN OURSELVES IN THE WATER. AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Because we had sand in our clothes we had no choice but to clean ourselves ma... so we went to the pool to clean lol.. ITS DIRTY ANYWAYS.... ;D
After that we went back to change and bath...
Caroline decided to do a Oil massage... We were there too.. We wanted to do too but ONLY ONE GIRL WAS WORKING... Your hotel really sucks so poor that you can't even hire more people..
Speaking of that. We bought the package at the tours WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE 1 HOUR FREE MASSAGE. BUT THEY DIDN'T TELL US THAT AFTER WE "UPGRADE" TO THIS HOTEL WE ARE NO LONGER ENTITLED TO THE MASSAGE.
On top of that they wrote that they had manicure pendicure whatever cure THE PEDICURIST WASN'T EVEN THERE AT ALL.
FUCKING AGENCY AND HOTEL. FUCK YOU ALL.
After the massage that Caroline had... We went to Viridian Restaurant thatJonah & I spotted when we went out for a secret mission...
We went there to celebrate Caroline's Birthday... It was our treat...
The Restaurant had a cool and quiet ambiance... Nobody was dinning there..
We we figured out why..
THE FOOD PORTION WAS SO SMALL AND SO EXPENSIVE LOL.
We paid for 1300 Bahts and we were not even HALF FULL. I SWEAR
However the food taste really good.. I would rate the Restaurant like this
Food : 4/5 (TASTE SUPER GOOD)
Portion : 0/5 (REALLY TOO SMALL)
Service : 5/5 (really good service & has Wifi)
Environment : 4/5 (really good location and really nobody dinning very quiet)
Price : 1/5 (TOO EXPENSIVE)
OVERALL : 3/5 (if only the portion was bigger I would give it 4.5)
Okay I spoke about our secret mission right? Actually before that we went to a mall in Phuket which was like 40mins away VERY FAR. Everybody on the streets told us that its just a 20mins walk. LOL
We went there to buy birthday cake for Caroline to surprise her! THE BEACH SIDE HAS NO PLACE THAT SELLS CAKES... IF YOU DONT WANT TO WALK SO FAR. I SUGGEST YOU BRING YOUR OWN CAKE NEXT TIME. Pandan cake or whatever that can be brought onto a plane. LOL
Happy girl Caroline's face HAHAHA Happy 21st to you!!! :D
DAY 2
When we thought that the hotel disaster ended...
We headed to eat our FREE BREAKFAST BUFFET..
NOTE ITS BUFFET. YOU KNOW HOW THE VARIETIES WAS LIKE SO LITTLE?
ON TOP OF THAT ITS DISGUSTING. TASTE HORRIBLE..
I won't blame it as much cos the hotel is already so sucky and the breakfast was free..
So cannot blame la hor? Free one... You get what you PAID FOR. BUT I DON'T THINK I PAID FOR THESE KIND OF SERVICES.
Anyway the breakfast was so bad that we decided not to eat the buffet on the last day..
After that we went for Island hopping which is the funniest of all..
ANYWAY I HAVE TO NOTIFY EVERYONE..
We were then cheated again :D
Our coach told us that the $62 for the Phi Phi Island trip was actually by big boat. the big boat will only land us on Phi Phi Island and not other Islands.
So we had to fork out $44 more to UPGRADE to SPEED BOAT. so that we can go island hopping la...
Okay this part. the coach CHEATED US. I feel cheated but not as bad..
Actually we paid $44 to buy another trip with the speed boat. You know how we found out that we were cheated?
The original "Big Boat" personnel came to our hotel to find us and asked us to join the trip for the big boat. We were puzzled because we thought that we UPGRADED IT.
The person was puzzled when we said we had an upgrade too. I gave him the receipt he saw and he didn't even know who our coach was.
He called the coach and I think the coach lied to him la saying that we have decided to go by speed boat because there's no such thing as BIG BOAT ALL SPEED BOAT THERE.
He will even give you a leaflet stating the 3000 bahts price and say that you just need to top up!
But that 'TOP UP' is actually buying of a new trip..
WELL. ITS FINE. I KNOW WE WERE CHEATED.. AND SINCE WE WERE CHEATED SO MANY TIMES WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE TO BE CHEATED ONCE MORE RIGHT?
Besides the new coach for the speed boat was really nice... so Okay la cheated.. But worth it. It was fun!
The first Island we landed was Maya Bay... OKAY LOOK AT THE PICTURE..
IF YOU EVER SEE THAT ROPE DO NOT CLIMB. I went up I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO GET DOWN..
In the end I had to slide down with my hands and I suffered a ROPE BURN MAN!
The rocks are so rough my foot was cut by the rough surfaces too..
HAIIZ I WAS LIKE WANTING TO SAVE MY PRIDE BECAUSE CAROLINE DARED ME TO CLIMB...
I was saying that it looks easy to climb but why people can't climb up.. and I laughed at her when she failed to climb up too.
I could reach the top but didn't know how to get down..
JOKER SIA ME.. HAHAHAH

We went to an island whereby Johnny filmed him Pirates of The Carribean place one LOL
We went snorkeling it was hell fun but was too short! HAHAH anyway if the coach asks you to rent the fins to prevent sea urchin from hurting you DO NOT RENT ITS 200 BAHTS BUT ITS USELESS
LOL BECAUSE THEY ARE SO DEEP DOWN BELOW I THINK IF YOU'RE 200CM TALL ALSO WONT STEP ON IT.
The sea is very clean but damm salty... but it was a good first experience :)
We headed to Phi Phi Island and had our lunch buffet there..Its Muslim. So no pork and no Alcohol!
Our Island Hopping ended from then on.. And I really did enjoy the whole thing..

Sadly we forgot the name of that restaurant...
Food there was really good too!

Its actually a very funny story....
There's this young little girl... She went to put the necklace on caroline and KISSED HER.
Then Caroline gave a stunned look. then the girl looked at me and wanted to do the same thing but I rejected her.
SHE THEN SAID TO CAROLINE " 100 BAHTS "
I WAS LAUGHING LIKE HELL. HAHAHAA Caroline had no choice cos she dono how to reject her so I told caroline, SHE ALREADY KISSED YOU JUST GIVE HER THE MONEY LOL...
And in the end she bought..
God that girl was GOOD AT SALES LOL.
Day 2 ended and it was really fun!
DAY 3
We started the day with eating Burger King cos we opted for a cheaper choice... LOL I SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY THERE LIAO LOL
After that we headed for a photoshoot.. MINI ONE cos the weather too warm... and Ate Haagen Dazs
After that we decided to go for a full Thai Massage which only cost like 800 Bahts for 2 hours. SO ITCHY UNTIL I KICKED THE LADY LOL....
Okay this is the part which I have to WARN EVERYBODY.. I am not sure whether it is a not but probably YES.
We went to this restaurant that looked cheap cos we only had 900 Bahts left in total and wanted to eat cheap la...
So basically this restaurant has a ' HAO CHI ' Sign (In chinese) outside.. and looks cheap also..
The food there I must say really good and cheap...
We ordered so many and it was only 800bahts CHEAPEST OF ALL MEALS WE HAD IN PHUKET.
BUT. The thing is..
After that. we headed to take the Plane. Caroline started to develop symptoms of Stomach Flu. She vomited twice on the plane.. And consecutively every few hours when she got home..
I suffered too on the next day. The pain is UNBEARABLE. I hope and wish that its not the restaurant's fault because the service there is really very good.
But I suspect their food is contaminated la. that's why we kena stomach flu...
Shall not mention their restaurant name here :)
I already gave a big clue with the sign outside their restaurant okay HAHAH
I must say these are the things that I bought in Phuket.. ALL BARGAINED.. HAHAHA Really you need to bargain because they will set the price so high and ridiculous...
First I bought a Boxing equipment... which the sales assistant told me was 3500 bahts...
3500 BAHTS IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE... He wanted to cheat my money and we managed to bargain until 2000 bahts. HEY LOOK AT THE BIG PRICE DIFFERENCE... 1500 BAHTS LESSER.. THAT'S $60 SGD OKAY.
The general item price rate after bargain is
Top - 100-150 Bahts (Sleeveless) 200 bahts (for sleeves)
Bottom - 200 bahts (shorts)
Sunglass - 100 bahts
SEE I SO GOOD THESE ARE THE PRICES THAT IS REASONABLE THERE.
ANYTHING HIGHER THAN THAT. DON'T BUY. Because they sell the SAME THINGS EVERYWHERE.
Anyway.. Another NOTE. DO NOT BUY SHOES THERE.
We went to this shop freaking scam. Wanted to sell Caroline a pair of slippers for 1500 bahts saying that is VERY GOOD QUALITY.
PLEASE $60 FOR A PAIR OF SLIPPERS THAT CAN BE BOUGHT FOR $10 IN BUGIS STREET? YOU KIDDING ME? YOUR SHOES CAN FLY IS IT?
Another shop selling the same exact pair of slippers... Selling at 850 bahts starting price. (Its like a bidding game) IS ALSO TOO HIGH. We turned around wanted to walk away the lady then offered a discount 500 bahts.
PLEASE. 500 BAHTS FOR THAT PAIR OF SLIPPERS IS NOT WORTH IT EITHER.
Buy shoes there... AT MOST 200BAHTS. NOTHING GOES ABOVE THAT AMOUNT. BE MINDFUL!
They will try all ways to cheat your money.
Anyway I have also come to an end of my Phuket Trip...
It was really fun I spent 800+ SGD there... like got cheated and such etc.. This post is to be mindful to everyone not to get cheated there.
PHUKET IS FULL OF SCAMMERS I SWEAR. They look friendly, they are smiling BUT YOUR POCKET WILL BLEED A BIG HOLE.
