Hey guys, Its been awhile since you last see me!
As all of you know that, I’m at the age whereby I have to start working soon! My adult life is hitting! I’m 22 and Army is coming to an end in the next few months or so, I will need to find myself a job in order to carry on with life (bo bian this is the life cycle) Time to go google for “part time jobs Singapore” ahbo I have no more rice to eat liao!
Speaking of jobs, I had a couple of part time jobs in Singapore throughout my 22 years of life. Which lead back to my first part time job when I was only 15! (HAHA not even legal to work but yeah)
My first job was being a retail assistant, in which I was top sales for 6 times! Coming out to work at such an early stage really gives me a lot of experiences and this nature me into whom I am today.
This really brings back a lot of memories! Working was so fun and although my pay was only like what? S$5/hour! (I guess Mcdonalds pay pretty dam well nowadays, still got CPF contribution one)
Looking for a job last time was pretty damm easy – I worked for NATAs fair before to give out flyers for one day for this stupid company. I walk until cannot walk anymore and suffered like this for the next few days in the end the stupid company don’t want to pay me – telling me that I wasn’t present because I did not sign my attendance (KNN the manager told me no need to sign) In the end my uncle called them and said if they don’t pay me, We will sue them. So they agreed to pay.
You see! Out there in this modern world got so many scamming companies.
So easy to ask you to work but in the end never pay you.
Another personal experience also recently, company never pay, late payment, late late late until now also haven’t pay yet. Keep saying will pay. NATO (No action talk only)
Also as time pass, recruiters are born to help us secure our rice bowl in which my bestie- Anton had a really bad experience.
He was told to sign a 6 months contract, to work as (I forgot the job title but nothing close to what he thought it would be)
He went to the job on his first day…. And TADAH! He got himself a construction worker’s job. Literally wearing helmet, boots like the photo shown above. He was only 17/18 leh! Poor him! He had to suffer for the next couples of days until I told him to just break the contract and disappear!

Likewise, working is really fun to me especially part time jobs…
Memories, Friendships, Life experiences are born because of that! This is also why I encourage young people to take up part time jobs! Can earn money leh! Then you will know how important money is already!
